Concert in Avignon

The concert season has begun for the regional choir. This time the tour takes us to Avingon. The superb Avignon opera Theatre is a n excellent opportunity to test my new 8mm which I have literally just taken out of the box. New angles for FANTASTIC photos.
The curves of the theatre, the red colours and the lights all contribute to the different, colourful images, giving many different types of wedding photos.
Below are a just a few examples of the photos I took, which of course only give a small idea of such an immense concert.

The Lights of Old Lyon
Engagement photo shoot in Lyon for Jessica and Jérome by PG Photography, Wedding photographer
For some time now I have wanted to do a shoot in Lyon during the festival of Light. After several fruitless attempts over the past two years, I decided to take advantage of Jessica and Jérome’s presence in Lyon and suggested to them that we do an evening shoot for their engagement in the old town of Lyon. Playing on the lights and vibrant colours, the result is particularly lively and refreshing.
I can also say that Jessica and Jérome are both particularly bright and at ease infront of the camera. The wedding will take place this summer in the region of Nimes and if, which I have no doubt, their friends are as refreshing and open as them, I can’t wait to be there.

Russian Fireworks at The Grand Hotel in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat

The Grand Hotel in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat is one of the most exclusive and marvellous Palaces in the world.The russian billionnaires who have adopted the French Riviera in the last two decades are perfectly aware of this fact.
The Hotel du Cap now belongs to a russian financial group which clients are mostly coming from Moscow or Saint Petersburg. Gorgious Weddings and exquisite private Receptions are organized all along the year at the Grand Hotel. That’s why every time that I return there, I feel so glad and so sure that I’ll be able to make some fabulous shots .
Here is a short summary of a wonderful night at the end of march. Unfortunatly the sky was, most of the time, grey and dull and the wind almost cancelled the extraordinary final Firework

Twenty inches of snow in three hours on French Riviera not so common !
Of course this was early in february but nevertheless it’s not so often that french riviera receives 20 inches of snow in less than three hours. The next morning as soon as ten o’clock it had almost all melted allready when I took this pic. It could be funny and amazing to attend a wedding in Monaco or Cannes with that kind of lanscape and of course such a sunny sky too.

Desert pictures from Marocco and Mauritania
You certainly remenber my friend Jean Baptiste Paye. Last fall I joined him on a sunny saturday near Marseille just to give a hand for Johanna’s and Choukri’s Wedding.
He will certainly come on one of mine this coming season like some other photographers from Romanian and Scottland will do.
Jean Baptiste is a great fan of the desert in Sahara and each year he shorten his winter season to drive way south to Marocco or Mauritania. I wanted to show you some of the pics he took last season during his trip. He sure should show them more often
