Wedding Photographer totally wet, a wedding in Antibes under the storm
Being a wedding photographer in Antibes is not a guaranty of sunny weddings. The wedding of Aurélie and Gilles was a real challenge for the photographer because of a heavy storm
Here are some of my favorite pics from this weding and the slideshow of a selection of a hundred pics. Enjoy it !

Brittish Wedding from Liverpool to Sainte Roseline for Mel and Graeme
A French and Brittish Wedding in Roquebrune. From Liverpool to Sainte Roseline for Mel and Graeme by PGPhotography Wedding Photographer France. http://www.pgphotography.eu/
I left Mel and Graeme on a warm and night of early June by the Albert Docks in Liverpool after a fantastic engagement shooting to meet with them again a month and a half later in the old village of Roquebrune where they had decided to plan their wedding. Though they both feared to be stressed on the big Day it was quite like a normal day. Have you ever heard of a wedding where absolutly nothing went wrong ? I can now witness that it happens sometimes. A day as natural as the water coming out of the famous fountain in the middle of the old village of Roquebrune just facing the house where Mel and her brothers spent their hollydays in their chidhood.
If Mel managed to avoid the stress it might because her bridesmaids Sarah and Amy, and her sister in law Lidia spent half of the day with her chatting and drinking Champagne while they all had their hair done in the village.
I haven’t seen if Graeme was stressed. I had promissed to bring him a dozen of beers at the church to help him face a possibly long wait by the altar. I fear that i forgot. Sorry Graeme once again a group of beautiful girls have distracted me from my duty – LOL
But in fact his must have been short as we where all perfectly on time at the church. After the ceremony came the highlight of the day as Mel and Graeme and her parents were expected by a threesome of old Citroen 2cv one blue one white and one red. I will never forget the sight of those three old cars on the small forgotten roads in the countryside behind La Bouverie and through La Motte. I am sure that Mel and Graeme deeply enjoyed every minutes they spent standing on the back seats of the old white “convertible” the hair floating in the wind ….. STOP – Oups sorry again Graeme -LOL

Little ride in an Aston Martin Vantage between Antibes and La Begude in Opio
Wedding in Antibes at Château La Begude golf of Opio by PG wedding photographer Cannes and Antibes.
In mai i paid a little visit to Caroline and Remi in Aix en Provence. I had for quite a long time, been thinking of a photo shooting early at night in that marvelous city. We thought time had come for that but parking in the city center around Le Cours Mirabeau was impossible. We decided to change our mind and drove toward La Saint Victoire to make a session that generated so many comments and reactions in the following weeks. The place is so beautiful and magic that it was not a surprise for me.
One month later I joined them first at Caroline’s place in Biot near the famous Marineland, for her getting ready and the preparation of her family and friend. Then we drove to the City Hall of Antibes where the traffic is allways so difficult in the summertime and especially on Saturdays when all weddings take place.
Caroline and Remi took their vows under the painting of Peynet’s lovers that covers the wall insidethe city Hall and in front of all their friends and families that had gathered from all over the country. Then after the religious ceremony all attendees were invited to take some refreshments in the gardens of the church. Meanwhile we escaped a few moment for some shots on the shore behind the Picasso Museum. Then the couple went for a ride in the Aston martin Vantage todays version of the famous convertible car that Sean Connery was driving in the first episodes of the James Bond saga. By the way I found that Remi in its Armani’s Costume could have played the part in a very convincing way.
