Wedding in Nice at the Elysée Palace by PG Photography Wedding Photographer Nice Monaco

Early this year you have certainly discovered Laetitia and Louis and the pictures of their Engagement Session in the old Nice. I first met them last year during the wedding of Charlène and Cédric whom I was very happy to see again this week end at the Elysée Palace. I did not know this Hotel though it is almost located on the Promenade des anglais and I was really amazed by the view fromthe Terrace on the top. The pictures we took there at night around the pool with the planes and the lights of the airport in the background were magical. Letty wanted to dive in the pool we’ll take a picture of that kind an other day. why not planning a trash the dress shooting in the coming weeks ?

A lot of emotion during this ceremony for Laetita and Louis who were married by a personnal friend of Letty. For me it was a great pleasure to be joigned by Franck a young friend videographer in Paris who sometimes accepts to leave the Tv studios  for a quick week end on the riviera when I ask him to. And the guests i must admit I had to keep all my professionnal self control not to join the dancers and not to be thrown in the air like all others were one after the other.

Délia and Fabien took their vows at the end of mai!

What a wedding ! I knew from the very first meeting with the Bride and Groom in Paris Quartier Latin last year that it really was to be something. The engagement session in Aix en Provence was a real success and all along the preparation and everytime we met in Aix or at La Commanderie de Peyrassol  I got the impression that it was going to be a very special wedding.

The least I can say now is that I haven’t been dissapointed. The City Hall in Aix en Provence first that looks like an old abbey with it’s unique old wrought ironed gate. Then the venue la Commanderie de Peyrassol     an extraodinary place. A pleasure for the eyes where everything is made to have you spend some wonderfull moments.

The lighting in blue and pink as well as the tables make beautiful pictures and underline the mouvement of the dancers and other artists .

Finally the attendees that were so smily and helpfull and decided to make that night become so special  and so sucessfull. Then  Délia and Fabien thanks very much to you and your families but also to all your friends

Last october on this blog ( http://blog.pgphotography.eu/en/page/6 ) I was regretting not to have, for the very first time in so many years, any Caroline among the Brides of the comming season.  It now is  the case as Caroline and Remi chose me as their wedding photographer.   Their Wedding will take place at Château de la Bégude in Opio.

I had for long been dreaming of covering a wedding in this place but never had the opportunity before. Probably because very few weddings are accepted there, though the place with its old roman aqueduct around the edge of the golf  is absolutly perfect for that kind of event.

The young couple live in Aix en Provence where they both work but originally come from Nice. As their big day was planned in Nice and its surroundings we’ve decided to meet in Aix en Provence for a first photo session and headed to “la Sainte Victoire” for some pics just before sunset. Here are some of the best shots:

Back to New England but not alone this time. My friend and colleague from Marseille Jean Baptiste Paye came with me.For the very first time in years I spared a few days to visit parts of the eastern coast. Of course we’ve planned to make a few pictures on the way in Boston, Cambridge and lot’s of other places. Here is a little galery of Boston where most pictures are xhowing reflections on Buildings or in the water.

A wonderful town. With San Francisco maybe the only north american city where european visitors feel like home.
Tomorrow engagement session with  Gretchen and Andrew. They’ll get married in june. I’am so excited about this wedding
