Avec un peu de retard Je me dois de vous faire part d’un rapide séjour à Marrakech début mars. J’ai pu profiter d’un séminaire du groupe Jet Tours où j’étais invité en tant que formateur, pour procéder à quelques repèrages en vu d’un mariage prévu en 2009. J’espère que je pourrai vous montrer les photos de ce mariage mais ce n’est pas gagné.  J’ai en effet à ce jour un peu de mal à en obtenir l’autorisation de publication. Plus les gens sont connus plus cela devient difficile, même en zone européenne alors qu’auparavant seuls les mariages en amérique latine ou du nord posaient ce genre de problème.

Alors pour mon plaisir et j’espère un peu aussi pour le vôtre voici quelques photos du jardin Majorelles, site où sont prévues les photos de couple.

Vous avez vu il y a quelques jours déjà les premières photos d’une séance Fun à Paris autour du pont d’ Iena et de la Tour Eiffel avec Marie Claire et Pierre Alexandre.  Voici le diaporama des photos de cette séance. Pour la musique honneur à Katie Melua et son plus célèbre morceau Nine  Million Bicycles. Un jour prochain nous referons une séance pour le plaisir à Enghien.

J’ai eu en 2001 le plaisir de couvrir à Saint-Raphael le mariage de Marie-Claire & Pierre-Alexandre. Nous sommes toujours restés en contact. De retour quelques années plus tard je leur ai parlé de mes Séances Découvertes. Marie-Claire a sauté sur l’occasion à la seule condition qu’elle remette sa robe de mariée. D’abords félicitations à tous les deux de pouvoir encore mettre vos tenues de mariage (surtout Marie-Claire après deux grossesses) Trouver une date et faire garder les enfants aura été une autre affaire. Mais nous y sommes enfin arrivés. Quel dommage cependant que nous ayons eu si peu de temps! Their Engagement Album is ready now. In less than fifteen day I’ll deliver it to Sarah and Thierry. As you will see from their pics  this is really a very nice young couple.

Welcome to my new blog, made entirely of wedding photos.

Everything is happening, once as my new site in French was launched last month and today is my birthday. A big thank you to Yann for all of his help with the blog. That leaves nothing else but to keep on going thanks to you all.

Its already been a year since my return to France. Even though I still have a few tropical weddings to work on over the winter, it really was time that I relaunched a new website and blog in French. This year has started well and I already have a few contacts for 2009 and even a few for 2010. It gives me pleasure to see that a number of you haven’t totally forgotten me. Now its the brothers and sisters who are getting married. The biggest news of this season is the Discovery Session. I am putting in place the methods which already work well across the Atlantic.

Why choose a Photographer that you don’t know or that you haven’t even tried out? We definitely test the caterer, the restaurant, the musicians, and any entertainers but never the Photographer. So I suggest to future bride and grooms who contact me for any free dates that I may still have, a small photoshoot no strings attached: The Discovery Session.

This will also allow us to get to know each other, look at possible venues, bring together ideas for the wedding photos. A sort of photo brainstorming session if you will.

In echange for your permission to publish your photos on my blog, I will present you with an album of these photos which is often called “The Engagement Album”. I will call it The Discovery Album for the purpose of my blog.

The Discovery Sessions are small photo shoots with the future Bride and groom, couples who want to see the way I work or simply couples that I meet from all parts of the world with who I have a connection and wish to take photos of them during which time the show me the place where they live.

I then construct a slideshow of the best photos which I present on my blog.

Finally I make a montage of photos from which I put together the album for each couple. This is the Discovery album which you will also see in the form of a slideshow on my blog.
