Desert pictures from Marocco and Mauritania

Author: You certainly remenber my friend   Jean Baptiste Paye. Last fall I joined him on a sunny saturday near Marseille just to give a hand for  Johanna’s and Choukri’s Wedding.
He will certainly come on one of mine this coming season like some other photographers from Romanian and Scottland will do.
Jean Baptiste is a great fan of the desert in Sahara and each year he shorten his winter season to drive way south to Marocco or Mauritania. I wanted to show you some of the pics he took last season during his trip. He sure should show them more often

Back to France after this long winter season Sorry for this long silence on this blog. I have been much too busy in last couple of month Here are some pics from a very funny shooting at Château de La Napoule near Cannes with Sonia & Christian. They will mary early in august at l’ Auberge des Adrets in the middle of the Esterel Mountains

Winterliche Zustimmungssitzung in Nice
Nice comme toute l’Europe aura connu cet hiver des pointes de froid inhabituelles. La séance d’engagement de Laetitia et Louis bien qu’au tout début de cette vague de froid montre à quel point il est important de passer du temps à retravailler les photos en studio a postériori pour restituer des couleurs plus agréables à l’oeil. D’ici quelques jours d’ailleurs vous verrez en plusieurs étapes ce que devient une images depuis la sortie de l’appareil photo jusqu’à l’impression. Nice the Old town is Laetitia and Louis’s Private Garden
Laetitia and Louis will take thier vows in June.
This will be my first photoshoot of the season. They plan to have a charming ceremony in the old town of Nice, which they know like the back of their hand and will introduce me to with ease.
In spite of unpredictable weather conditions the photos are beautiful. Here is a preview of some.

Wedding at la Font du Broc. Melissa and Greg’s tender joining of hands
Friday Mélissa and Greg said “yes” at Draguignan. Afterwards, their family and friends joined them at Château Font du Broc. As this was a very international wedding, I was rather happy to be able to make myself understaood in a variety of languages! Despite the oppressive heat until quite late into the evening, there was a distinct party atmosphere so I left quite late – only to not be late the next morning for Marie and Frédéric’s wedding in Cannes.

I do love that shot. This group of attendees were turning much too fast and the young man with brown tie almost hit me to the ground  !
Nobody had ever told me that being a wedding photographer was a risky trade.
