J’ai entrepris depuis peu de retranscrire ici les commentaires et anecdotes que me transmettent les invités les amis et les membres des familles de mes mariés. Que ceux ci étaient été présents ou non au mariage. Au contraire c’est pour ceux qui étaient absents l’occasion de leur témoigner leur amitié au travers de ce modeste blog.

Dieu sait que pour le mariage de Gretchen et Andrew les billets sont arrivés rapidement en grand nombre de tous les coins des Etat Unis. Voici ces commentaires que je laisse dans leur langue originale bien sûr

Gretchen, despite the most chaotic travel I’ve ever had in my life (how much do you think American luggage goes for on the streets of gay Paris?) I had the most fun I’ve ever had at a wedding. Love to you and Andrew!     -JON

« I first met Andrew four years ago. At the time I felt quite a strong sense of curiosity because I was unsure how to welcome him. To me, my sister was a source of inspiration and love and I felt that not just any ordinary man could be worthy of her let alone handle her fire. However, as the years went on and I was able to see how he was around my family and I, and a strong sense of brotherly love developed. I consider Andrew a brother and I thank God that my sister was able to marry a man who is as loving as he.   -PETER

Your minister at the wedding referred to marriage as a lifelong commitment. And the most refreshing thing about you two is that you have made the process that goes with making that commitment seem so easy.

Since the days of the 12 Gardner Street apartment in Allston, the support and consideration that you always give each other reflects more about you than just love. Yes, mes amis, your commitment also reveals great intelligence….. because the smartest thing you have ever done was marry one another.
